Peer mentorship

A two-way relationship exists between Scholars and upper-year McGill students called peer mentorship. During the first year, two mentors are matched with two Scholars in order to form a Peer Mentorship Circle. This approach aims to expose mentors and scholars to a wider variety of people, interests, and viewpoints.

Peer Mentors give guidance on how to get around McGill life in a way that helps Scholars succeed and transition. Despite the differences between each Scholar and Mentor, they all have a dedication to achieving academic success, developing as a leader, and feeling a sense of civic obligation.
