The Presidential Scholarships at MSU are the most prestigious academic honors, recognizing leadership ability, academic excellence, and exceptional character.
Every four years, scholarship recipients receive a stipend, a tuition waiver, and other beneficial incentives. Presidential Scholars have recently been given prestigious scholarships like the Goldwater, Rhodes, Marshal, Mitchell, and Truman awards. As an ambassador for the university, they have a responsibility to represent the ideals of the institution via leadership and public service, and they are dedicated to making a lasting impression on the world.

Eligibility: As an international student, you are immediately eligible for scholarships based on your high school grade point average when you submit your application. Students may submit their SAT or ACT results for consideration for other scholarships even if we do not require them for admission. Every applicant to Montana State University is eligible to be taken into account.
